Greetings from Keith Preston
Aldeburgh Golf Club - PGA Golf Professional

Now In Stock - Ladies PING Rhapsody

This week, the pro shop has taken delivery of the new Ladies PING Rhapsody range. These include a lightweight forgiving driver and fairway woods. Easy-to-hit hybrids and high-launching, highly forgiving perimeter-weighted irons to optimize distance.

The irons and hybrids utilize lightweight components to lower the overall weight, making it easier to generate clubhead speed, ball velocity and distance, especially from slower swing speeds, as well as a range of Rhapsody putters. All engineered exclusively for women!

Pop in to the pro shop on your next visit to take a look, and have a go with one of our PING Rhapsody demo clubs, and see what we can do for you!

Helping you enjoy better golf this year

Most of you will be familiar with the survey we ran last year to try and help us improve the service we offer you, and we had some interesting feedback. These results brought to mind the saying, 'A bad workman always blames his tools'. There's a certain amount of truth in this saying, but when it comes to golf, there may be more to it…not that we're saying you're bad golfers, because what we're about to say applies to players of all abilities.

For example, we discovered that nearly half of you haven't been fitted for your irons. Not bad tools, just not the right shafts for you, perhaps? Similarly, we can say with some certainly that 50% of you have a gap in your wedge system. Again, the wedges themselves may be fine, but if you haven't got the right ones for the distances and shot types you're attempting, you'll encounter problems, even if you do have a fantastic short game.

Survey FeedbackWe'll be bringing you more over the coming months on the results from the survey with lots of advice and tips on how we can help, so look out for this graphic. The survey was intended to help us understand your game even more, and if we can do that then better golf is just around the corner - and no more blaming your tools.
